Printcrafters' assets auctioned off June 23
WINNIPEG—Printcrafters' pressroom, bindery, prepress and other printing equipment and supplies will be available for sale during a live webcast auction beginning at 10 a.m. EDT on June 23 hosted by Great American Group.

Printcrafters closed its doors in late April and its subsidiaries Dave’s Quick Print and Globally Boundless also went into receivership earlier this year. But a spokesperson at receiver Ernst & Young, who took possession of the company's assets on April 6, later said Dave's Quick Print will continue operating after being bought by two of its employees.

Paul Brown, Great American Group vice president, wholesale & industrial division, noted, "One of the most featured items we have is a Heidelberg 10-colour Speedmaster press. They don't come up very often at auction."

Other items up for auction include six-colour and five-colour Heidelberg Speedmasters, a Muller Martini Monstar perfect binder, a laminator, folding machines, paper cutters, prepress equipment along with forklifts, strapping machines, tables and other plant equipment, according to the auction company.

The equipment can be viewed prior to auction at 78 Hutchings St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 22, or from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on June 23.

For a complete list of the auction items available, contact Paul Brown at (203) 292-8111 or visit the company's website at www.greatamerican.com.
