FP Newspapers to print Metro Winnipeg in Steinbach plant
WINNIPEG—The Metro – that free publication Torontonians associate with subway travel – is coming to Winnipeg. While it is already online, the print edition will be printed at FP Newspapers’ recently acquired Steinbach printing plant.

FP Newspapers purchased the plant from its previous owners, Derksen Printers, on February 28 – with the official launch on April 4. FP has entered into a multi-year contract to continue printing the free newspaper.

The print edition is also available in PDF format at www.metronews.ca/winnipeg
