Shipments close 2010 on a down note
OTTAWA—Printing shipments closed off 2010 on a down note, though the decline is less steep than 2009, according to the latest StatsCan report. In 09, printing shipments took a whipping to the tune of a 12% decline. Still, we're a long way from past peaks.

This is good news? The industry is down over 5% from a very bad year and the economy is in rebound. As the numbers shrink the % decline will continue to look better even though the industry is shrinking to nothing. Not really progress.
