Donald Atkins dies
VANCOUVER—Donald Atkins (Don) has died at the age of 78 in Vancouver.
Don was born in 1932 and lived all his life in Vancouver, becoming a businessman and printer at Benwell Atkins Printers, according to a release from the BCPIA. He was also a supporter of many foundations including SA&D Publishers, YMCA and the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre.
A memorial service for Don will be held Friday, November 12 at 3 p.m. at West Vancouver United Church, 2062 Esquimalt Avenue, West Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada in honour of Don.
