Print World announces special attractions for the show
TORONTO—A Print Software Theatre, a Chinese Pavilion, a Case Study Theatre, and Design City are four of the special attractions at this year’s Print World, happening November 20-22 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.
Print World, the World of Shorter-Run Printing, is a bienniel show focusing on the short-run market. Other show attractions include equipment premieres and a full schedule of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and seminars.
The UpLinX Print Software Theatre is an education centre with a daily schedule of seminars to showcase the latest in colour management, print management information systems, the new Adobe PDF/VT standard and digital asset management. The theatre is sponsored by the UpLinX PreMedia Group of PaperlinX.
The Chinese Pavilion is the first for any Canadian show and offers equipment and suppliers from China who are expanding into the Canadian market.
Over at the Case Study Theatre, success stories from printers adapting to the changing marketplace will be held each day during the show. Confirmed speakers include Pazazz Printing’s Warren Werbitt, C.J. Graphics Jay Mandarino and LYFT Visual’s Serge Trajkovich.
Design City 2010 offers products and services targeted at the graphic design market. The “show within a show” brings together graphic designers with brand-name suppliers of software, paper, photography and other trade services. This year's Design City offers swatches, samples, giveaways and promotions from the largest collection of exhibitors yet.
Early bird registration is available until November 12 for Print World, at 50% off the admission at the door.
