Moderate ad spend increase forecasted for 2010
—A report recently released by Publicis Groupe’s Zenith Optimedia forecasts a 0.9% increase in global ad spending for 2010. Ad spending in the U.S. is reportedly going to drop another 2.6%, following a much steeper decline of 12.9% this year.
The internet is the only medium which has grown this year, according to the report and will overtake newspapers in the next decade.
