Graphic Monthly Gold List gets a twist
MISSISSAUGA—Graphic Monthly Canada’s annual, authoritative Gold List of Canada’s top 100 printers is set to be released this week—with a special “variation.”

According to the list, collective sales for Canada’s 100 largest printers continued to slump in 2008, coming in at $14.10 billion, a $620 million drop from 2007. Quebecor World once again came out on top, with sales of $4.87 billion in 2008, a 13.78% decline from the previous year, while Transcontinental Inc. ($1.88 billion), Cascades Boxboard Group ($1.3 billion), CCL Industries Inc. ($971 million) and Shorewood Packaging ($650 million) rounded out the top five.

For this year’s Gold List issue, the Top 100 printers will receive a personalized Graphic Monthly cover with a congratulatory message. The back cover also features a personalized ad from Müller Martini that in some cases mentions the exact model the printer has.

Sina Printing completed the variable printing job, while Belmont Press handled the foil stamping.
