Regina shop upgrades CTP
REGINA—PrintWest Communications Regina has upgraded its violet CTP system to a new Fujifilm Dart 4300S thermal CTP.

The shop added a high-speed thermal CTP Luxel T-980011 a few years ago, and wanted a similar system to handle an increase in jobs requiring higher line screening.

PrintWest has been in business for more than 50 years and specializes in newsletters, catalogues, magazines, and advertising products. It employs 150 people.

With the Dart 4300S from left to right are: Laureen Ingeberg, production manager; Don Warner, digital imposition and platemaking; Kelly Sparks, prepress co-ordinator; Wayne Standon, digital imposition and platemaking; and Kelvin Jones, digital prepress systems manager.
