Howard Donates Rebuilt Washington Press to Metropolitan University

Howard Graphic Equipment has donated an R. Hoe Hand Iron Press to Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson). Installed in the main lobby of the School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM), located at the Heidelberg Centre, Toronto Metropolitan University. The 1850 R. Hoe Washington hand iron press was completely restored by Howard Graphic Equipment

and is in working order even with original paint colours. Howard
 
Graphics also runs the Howard Iron Works Printing Museum in Oakville that has one of the largest collections of working historic presses going back to the 1830's up until the 1950's. Howard Iron Works also has one of the largest libraries of books and magazines on the printing industry in North America.
