Konica Minolta Releases JETvarnish Web
TOKYO, JAPAN—
Konica Minolta has launched its JETvarnish 3D Web 400 digital embellishment machine for the label print market.The Web 400 is the latest generation roll-to-roll digital embellishment press from MGI Digital Technology. Available in six configurations, the machine can feature a hot foil unit, inline semi-rotary die cutting unit and one or two print engines.

A standard spot UV varnish in the first printer unit there is the option to apply a special varnish in the second printer, which allows for single-pass UV varnishing and hot foil stamping, using a 100% digital process. This can be used on a wide range of substrates and for offset, flexo, toner or inkjet printing, along with meeting short, medium and long runs. The press can reach speeds up to 42m/min, on roll widths from 200mm up to 350mm, with the option to extend to 420mm.
