HP Nio - 'AI will revolutionize the world of print as we know it'
At the last Dscoop Edge global print industry user group event, HP introduced more new intelligent automation capabilities with the launch of HP Nio, a new chatbot that connects directly with HP PrintOS and allows customers to ask questions about their print operations, to receive real-time data, production insights, and on-demand knowledge. With the event marking the 20th anniversary of Dscoop, it was significant that AI dominated the conversation.

Haim Levit, SVP & Division President, HP Industrial Print, said: “For two decades, HP and the Dscoop Edge community have been driving the transformation of digital print, so it is fitting that this year we celebrate that legacy and embark on a new journey: one in which AI will revolutionize  the world of print as we know it.” HP Nio is a next generation print industry AI agent that provides real-time insights and predictive analytics to press and production performance. It works by connecting directly with HP PrintOS, giving printers a single touchpoint for HP’s operational data tools like Print Beat and Knowledge Zone, meaning users simply need ask the chatbot a question, and it will provide detailed answers and suggestions. Next steps are for HP Nio to also integrate with other HP PrintOS apps like HP Site Flow to support workflow automation and suggest smart, actionable next steps towards workflow improvements
