Annex Closing Down Printing Plant
SIMCOE , ONTARIO—
Annex Business Media has announced they are closing their plant in Simcoe, Ontario. The sheetfed plant specialized in magazine printing. Annex publishes about 50 trade magazines. Annex has decided to focus on their core business of publishing . They are the largest B2B publisher in Canada serving markets from aviation to pulp and paper. The plant primarily printed publications for Annex but did have some outside clients.
Printing of their magazines will be moved to Cober in Kitchener. Cober has expanded their Kitchener plant to over 200,000 sq. Ft. The Kitchen plant is one of the largest in South West Ontario. Cober has locations in Kitchener and Barrie, Ontario. Cober Evolving Solutions was founded 1916, it offers conventional print, web-based marketing, bindery, mailing, warehousing management, fulfillment, distribution and online services. They are listed as Canada's 66th largest printer .
