Hemlock Buys Colortec
BURNABY, B.C.—
Hemlock Display Solutions, a Western wide-format printing company, announced the acquisition of Burnaby-based Colortec Creative Print Solutions. Colortec was founded in 1988 and has served the Metro Vancouver marketplace with wide-format print services for over 35 years. A second-generation family business. The Colortec business will transition to Hemlock Display’s Burnaby operations August 1, 2024,
with Chris Fetterly (President), Grace Holmes (Production), Cole Reid (Production) and Susan Bliss (Prepress, Customer Service) joining the Hemlock Display team. Colortec has gone from screen printing to inkjet roll printing, to digital flatbeds. Hemlock Display is a wide-format printing services with a 35,000 square foot facility in Burnaby. Equipment includes digital UV, latex and screen-printing capabilities for a wide variety of products and applications. Hemlock Display is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Burnaby, BC-based Hemlock Printers one of Western Canada’s largest printers. Colortec Creative Print has no connections of former Colour Teck of Mississauga , Ontario.
