Canadian Printing Resources Sold To Owner of Trico

Canadian Printing Resources (CPR) has been sold to Michael Hothi owner of Trico Packaging & Print Solutions of Ottawa. Started in 1985 by Joe Fiorillo the company has grown to a staff of 35 and a 28,000 sq. ft. plant. A commercial printer who also does trade work. Largest press is a 40' 8 colour Komori, two Diddie webs, die-cutter and 5 Jet envelope presses. The company is not moving and will keep the CPR name and Joe will be staying on focussing on business development. All staff is being retained .

Michael Hothi, purchased Trico in late February of 2020 and revitalized the company increasing sales and staff. This is the 5th acquisition of the last 14 months having acquired Ottawa/Gatineau companies, Marquardt Printing and Sotek Graphics in 2022 as well as Rideau Mailing and select assets of Imprimerie Vincent already this year. Combined sales of Trico CPR is around $25 million with around 75 employees.
