Antalis has acquired a portfolio of Arjowiggins brands including Conqueror, Curious Collection, Keaykolour, and Pop’Set. Antalis has been Arjowiggins’ worldwide distributor and partner for its Creative Papers portfolio since the merchanting group was formed in 2000 by the demerger of the then Anglo-French Arjowiggins Appleton distribution business. Arjowiggins two  British paper mill went bankrupt in October.

Paper mills go back to the 1700's

Arjowiggins paper mill  manufactured writing papers, text and covers , digital papers , label stock , security papers and translucent papers. Some of the grades were sold into the Canadian market. Arjowiggins Chartham  mill has been making paper since 1738, and Stoneywood mill  since 1770. Fedrigoni purchased the former Arjowiggins Guarro Casas mill in Spain in October. Further details, such as where the papers will be manufactured in future, were unavailable and Antalis expected to provide an update soon.
