STAFFORDVILLE , ONTARIO— Sportswood Printing has been sold to Aylmer Express Group . Sportswood started in 1989 as a publisher and expanded in to printing. The company did around $3 million in sales and ran two shifts on a 5 colour 40". Sportswood has a full bindery with a saddle stitcher and perfect binder. Most of the staff will be absorbed into other Aylmer Express plants. Gary Foerster owner of Sportswood Printing will be retiring . Aylmer Express (AE Graphics Group ) is  one of the largest independent printer in South Western Ontario. They have five  locations and own AE Graphics Group , Barney Printing, Accell Graphics , Westminister International  and Beatty Printing. Total staff in the printing operations is around 100 employees . The Aylmer Express   like Sportwood started as a publisher but most of their income is now from printing operations.
