Postage Stamps Printed On Toilet Paper
VIENNA—
Austria's postal service announced it is issuing a postage stamp made from three-ply toilet paper, inspired by the panic-buying of toilet paper when Covid-19 first hit. The stamp shows an image of a baby elephant, which has been used in Austria to symbolize the 1-meter (3.2 feet) physical distancing advice used in the European country to avoid the spread of the novel virus.
The stamps, which can be torn off the stamp block along a perforated line just like toilet paper, come complete with a self adhesive foil, and retail for €2.75 ($3.25), the mail service donates half of the price to help those who have been severely affected by the pandemic.

Never could figure out why people rushed to buy mass quantities of toilet paper when the virus hit. What was up with that?
