The American Forest & Paper Association  has released its June 2020 Printing-Writing  report. Writing paper shipments decreased 25% in June compared to 2019.  Purchases of total printing-writing papers decreased 25% in June compared to the same month last year.

Report on coated and uncoated free sheets
The purchases of uncoated free sheet (UFS) papers in June decreased 28% compared to last June. Coated free sheet (CFS) paper shipments decreased 13% compared to June 2019, while the inventory level decreased 2% compared to May 2020. Purchases of coated mechanical (CM) papers in June decreased 40% compared to last June, while the inventory level decreased 2% compared to May 2020.
