KYOTO , JAPAN— The Kyocera said the introduction of the TASKalfa Pro 15000c, an inkjet colour printer with a 600x600dpi resolution with speeds up to 150ppm letter size. Designed for the production of up to one million 8 1/2  per month, a warm-up time of less than 120 seconds and a time to first print of 5.5 seconds . Its modular design allows for different scales, with storage for up to 14m sheets.The printer uses water-based pigment ink, which Kyocera said is environmentally friendly in both manufacturing and disposal. The manufacturer described pricing for the printer as “very competitive”, and said it aims to provide its customers “with the lowest running costs in this market segment”.
