American Printing Magazines Sold To SGIA

Last American publication for the printing industry left.
Last American printing trade publication left. 
In a  unusual move the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA)  announced that it has acquired NAPCO Media. Under the terms of the agreement, NAPCO Media—owners of Printing Impressions, Packaging Impressions, Promo Marketing, Print+Promo, In-Plant Impressions, Wide-Format Impressions, Total Retail, NonProfit PRO and Target Marketing—will become an LLC and will continue to operate as an independent entity.

All NAPCO Media staff and business units will remain in place. SGIA offices and NAPCO Media offices will continue to reside in Fairfax, Va. and Philadelphia, respectively.In 2017, SGIA and NAPCO Media formed a partnership to create a trade show  PRINTING United. It is  was built upon the solid foundation of the former SGIA Expo. PRINTING United is being held October 23-25, 2019 in Dallas. In the past industry associations have not done well in the trade publishing field.
