Bant Printocut closed it doors last Friday. It was a complete surprise to staff and the industry. Almost 60 years old Bant was a trade die cutting and gluing house. The company had a staff of about 15 and had three 40" platen die cutters , 3 glueing machines, a tipping , cutters and some smaller equipment. It is speculated they did just below $1million in sales

. Bant Printocut  did a lot of work on the packaging side of the industry. The company was bought about 10 years ago by Joe Halloran and moved to a new location about two years ago. Attempts to contact the owner were not returned. What is going to happen to all the cutovers dies is not clear.
