ISTANBUL— Koenig & Bauer has agreed with Duran Machinery in Istanbul to take over 80 per cent of its folder gluer business and integrate it into the Group under the name Koenig & Bauer Duran.Duran manufactures six standard series of Omega folder gluers  and ancillary equipment, the company also provides R&D services for specific production requirements, starting from unique packaging designs and the manufacturing  tailor-made machinery. Duran machines are used worldwide. Koenig & Bauer has  with the Rapida sheetfed presses ,Iberica  flatbed die cutters  and the folder gluers from Duran, the company can now offer complete lines for the printing and processing folding boxes from a single source - with products made in Europe.
