C.J. Graphics wins big at OPIA Awards
TORONTO—On Wednesday May 18, the Ontario Printing & Imaging Association (OPIA) honoured the winners of its annual Excellence in Print Awards. Brad Thompson, chairman of Printing Industries of America was the guest speaker for the evening.

C.J. Graphics took home a total of 14 awards, including top divisional awards in two categories, Digital and Specialty. 
 
St. Joseph Communications won three awards, which included a nod in the Sheetfed Division. 

TC Transcontinental Vaughan won the top prize in the Web Division category. TC Transcontinental Brampton as well as Metroland Media Hamilton Web, and Prime Data Inc., also all took home a top award each in a category.

Colour Innovations Inc., won seven awards, Mi5 Print and Digital Communications won two, Welch & Quest Ltd., won two, and Ryerson University School of Graphic Communications Management also took home two awards.

All of the winning category submissions were sent by the OPIA to Printing Industry of America’s (PIA) Premier Print Awards competition for international judging.

The 2016Excellence in Print Awards was sponsored by Heidelberg, Flint Group, Domtar, Spicers and Sun Chemical.
