Howard Graphic Equipment sends out its final reconditioned press
MISSISSAUGA—As of July 16, 2015 Howard Graphic Equipment  (HGE) will no longer be a supplier of reconditioned machines. The last press to make the journey from its facility to its new home in New York was a Komori S640.

HGE spent the past five decades rebuilding printing and allied equipment, and now plans to reorient its business strategy and concentrate solely on growing the buy and sell sector of its equipment supply business.

Our mandate and commitment to our customers in 74 countries remains the same: we will not sell anything that we would not buy ourselves. We focus on offering our customers the very best in market knowledge and technical know-how. After all the decades of rebuilding we love to share our insights and expertise with the industry. With our active day-to-day involvement, we intend to continue to be the source for quality pre-owned equipment. Our Tradition and Values Continue.

The company will provide USPAP-compliant certified valuations on complete plant or one single machine, as well as fully qualified consultative service buy-outs, mergers and acquisitions, cause & origin determination, and budgetary figures for rebuilding.

Over 4500 press units have been through HGE’s facilities since 1967, and almost 2,5000 pre- and post-press equipment including Bobst, Polar, Muller Martini stitchers and perfect binders, and a 45-pocket Muller Martini, the largest capacity perfect binding line in South America.
