Agfa showcases new inkjet systems for Canada
MISSISSAUGA—Agfa Inc. showcased two new Jeti wide-format printer systems to Canadian printers at a two-day red carpet event at its inkjet manufacturing and demonstration centre in Mississauga, Ontario.

The two printers demonstrated were the Jeti Tauro H2500 and the Jeti Mira. The Jeti Tauro is a high-end hybrid six-colour UV printer with plus white or primer and multiple automated options. It is ideal for high productivity printing on both rigid and flexible material.

Both printers are made for the higher-end of the Canadian sign and display market and offer printers high-productivity and high-quality output.

Eir Carlomusto, a demo manager with Agfa, took the time to demonstrate the Jeti Mira system, and said the printer is ideal for printing on rigid materials up to two inches thick and offers colour resolutions of up to 1,200 dpi. “It is available in two table versions, a 2.7 metre by 1.6 metre and a 2.7 metre by 3.3 metre size,” he added.

The Jeti Tauro offers optional semi or full media load and unload automation, and is designed for high-productivity printing on both rigid and flexible material.
