Berco Labels installs a Xeikon 3030
QUEBEC CITY—Berco Labels, a printer of pressure-sensitive labels, has expanded its business and production capabilities by installing a Xeikon 3030 digital colour press.

Founded over 40 years ago, Berco Lables is part of the Group Magnitude family of companies, and offers digital, offset, and flexographic printing.

"Xeikon digital technology allows us to produce short and medium runs profitably,” Berco Labels president Manon Leclerc said. “We were not able to do so with flexo technology. The Xeikon 3030 has enabled us to be a much more complete and diverse supplier to the market.”

The majority of Berco’s digital label production is for the food and beverage industries. The new installation will help in this area as the 3030 boasts superior image quality and FDA compliant toner, and one-pass opaque white toner ideal for Berco’s production of high quality wine and spirits labels on clear substrates.
