OTTAWA—Sandy Stephens was elected chair of the CPIA board at the organization's annual meeting Nov. 30. Stephens, who is also chair of the CPIA's government affairs committee, is currently vice president and partner of Informco in Toronto. Having served on the CPIA board of directors since 2003, he is also a graduate of Ryerson University's Graphic Communication Management program.

Also elected as board members are Jamie Barbieri of PDI as secretary/treasurer, and Kevin Deveau of Ariva as director at large.

Kevin Henderson of Unicom Graphics will represent the PGIA (Calgary), Daryl Breckner of Globe Printers will represent the Saskatchewan Graphic Arts Industries Association (SGAIA), Jeff Ekstein of Willow Printing Group will be the representative of the Printing Industries of America (PIA), and Don Robinson of Heidelberg Canada will serve as supplier representative.

Three board directors with multiple years of service have departed, including Curwin Friesen of Friesens, Louise Kralka of PDI, and Daryl Schaffer, who previously represented the SGAIA.
