Ilan Baldor Joins Safeguard Network
Former Employee of Datamark Systems Becomes Safeguard Distributor
THORNHILL, ON – Safeguard is pleased to announce that Ilan Baldor, former employee of Datamark Systems, has joined the Safeguard network.

“I am looking forward to continuing to provide excellent service to customers through Safeguard,” said Baldor.

Ilan Baldor has extensive experience in the sale of print and related products and services. He began his career in printing in 1996 at McBee Systems and later moved to Datamark Systems in 1998, where he was responsible for the growth and development of several accounts across Canada. Baldor worked as a sales employee for Datamark for the next 16 years, until they closed their offices in March of 2014.

“I had developed a strong core of accounts across Canada but didn’t have the financing or production to support them once Datamark closed,” said Baldor. “Now that I have joined Safeguard, I have the opportunity to support and grow these new Safeguard customers through additional product offerings such as promotional products and other business services.”

Kevin Derella, Executive Director of Development for Safeguard, is excited to see independent, entrepreneurial-minded individuals support their business through Safeguard.

“When I met Ilan, I knew he was an ideal candidate to become a Safeguard distributor,” Derella said.  “His extensive industry background, desire to own his own business, and passion for delivering exceptional customer service really stood out.  Now, as a Safeguard distributor, Ilan has the support of Safeguard’s systems, manufacturing capabilities and marketing programs to help those customers run and grow their businesses.”

Kevin Ellis, Regional Sales and Support Manager for Safeguard Canada and a key resource for distributors as they transition to Safeguard, has been impressed with Baldor’s ability to find cost-effective and creative solutions for customers.

“Ilan has tackled the transition to Safeguard with tremendous enthusiasm, and I have great confidence that his drive will be an important component of his future success,” said Ellis.

For more than 58 years, Safeguard, through its network of distributors, has been providing the products, services and expertise needed by business owners to help their businesses grow. Through innovation, dedication and a commitment to quality and integrity, Safeguard has transformed itself from a small check printing business to a fully diversified business solutions enterprise.
