Canada Post printing personalized stamps
OTTAWA—Canada Post is now offering a personalized service allowing customers to put their own photos on stamps.

Each photograph uploaded (or mailed) to Canada Post will be transformed into a sheet of 20 self-adhesive stamps (domestic rate) and a picture enlargement for $27.95. A sheet of 40 stamps is $44.75.

The service is designed and managed by Canadian Bank Note (CBN) for Canada Post. "The public submit their favourite photo to the service bureau located in CBN's high security, Ottawa facility," reads CBN's website. "The fully online system manages the production of personalized stamps, from the customers' online purchase through a secure transactional web site, to the printing and delivery of the final product by mail in a matter of days."

The Picture Postage website can be found here. Canada Post also recently introduced free mobile apps for the personalized stamp service.
